Hi,

I'm having a problem with the plotting feature of Serpent. My input deck is as follows:

When plotting this ("sss jezebel-shells.serpent -plot"), I expect to see two concentric circles of the same color with a black line (surface 1) cutting through them (based on the description of plotting in the user manual) . However, this surface does not appear in the plot and the image produced is one homogeneous circle of the same color. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi,

by default, Serpent only plots boundaries of different materials. This can be modified at the source code level by editing plotgeometry.c. Switching the boundary mode at lines 44-47

  mode = 2;


to cell boundary mode (mode 1) and recompiling should give you the plot you want.
