Re: Problem with 1g flux in burnup calculations

Emil, I looked quickly at your problem and I think I had the very same problem when I compared to BGCore a couple of months ago. For me at least, I forgot that TOT_FLUX is not actually flux unless you divide it by the volume of your homogenization region. Powdens has the correct units of kW/gm. I ha...

Fission Yield of I,Xe,Pm

Jaakko,

I know there was a post before about these fission yields. Is there any way we can get them out of the standard burnup calculation without doing equilibrium Xe calculations? I would need the node averaged fission yields.

Thanks,

Bryan

Burnup Calc in v1.14

Hi Jaakko, I re-ran my PWR case with the latest version of Serpent and I get significantly different results. I ran the same input file with both versions (v1.14 and v1.13) to see how they compare. In the latest version of PARCS I get the warning that the mass density change during the burnup step i...

Re: Assembly discontinuity factors

I did not do it with black boundary conditions. I just tried it for one side and now I can see which side it is from the ADFS.

Thanks!

Re: Assembly discontinuity factors

Hi Jaakko,

I tried doing the same thing for a hex, but i could not find a way to distinguish. I tried doing a full assembly of U-235 (4.5%) and then replacing with pure U-235. Could you try something for 1 configuration and see if you can distinguish the side?

Thank you,

Bryan

ADFS/ADFC for Hex

Hi Jaakko,

What is the convention in the output file for the layout of the ADFS/ADFC for the two hex cylinders geometries?

Thanks,

Bryan

Re: ScoreADF error

Jaakko, The error begins right after the inactive cycles are finished and I get the following errors that never stop, however the 2 numbers keep incrementing: ScoreADF: Shouldn't be here 1 1 ScoreADF: Shouldn't be here 1 1 ScoreADF: Shouldn't be here 1 1 ScoreADF: Shouldn't be here 1 1 ScoreADF: Sho...

ScoreADF error

Hi Jaakko,

I have been trying to run a file, and it gets stuck saying "ScoreADF: Shouldn't be here ", it then gives two numbers. My geometry plotted fine, is this a geometry error?

Thanks!
