Hi Jaakko,
I'm submitting a work in which I present some calculations performed with Serpent. Is there a specific format through which I should reference Serpent in a scientific publication?
Thank you in advance.
cheers

Cross-section homogenization
Hi,
a simple question: is there a way to homogenize cross-section on single materials instead of universes? (I have a pin-like domain and I need few-group cross-sections & diffusion coeffs for both materials).
Thank you in advance.

Cross section data plotter
Hi, I am performing an infinite medium criticality calculation where I define only ONE material composed of different isotopes. Since I need a very fine spectral analysis of the system, I defined the following option that prints out the <filename>_xs0.m file. set xsplot 7000 1.0E-05 1.0E+02 I have s...

Detector output m-file
Hi, while performing flux spectrum distribution calculations with Serpent 1.1.18, I noticed that the <inputName>_det<u>.m file of the detector output provides the same values of the minimum and mean energy in the energy bin boundaries of the variable DET<name>E. I suppose there is a +1 missing in th...

Re: Results from mpi runs
Hi, I have question concerning the parallel mode calculation. I run the BWR example in three different configurations, with fixed seed of random number generator. The exec commands for the three cases are respectively: (1) sss bwr > bwr.log (2) mpirun -np 2 sss bwr > bwr.log (3) mpirun -np 4 sss bwr...

Re: Compilation of SERPENT with mpicc
Hi, I just received the latest version of the serpent code 1.1.18 and I am trying to compile it using the mpicc wrapper. The compilation process partly succeeds, meaning that I don't get any compilation error but I get the following warning message for each compiled file: /usr/lib/openmpi/include/mp...
