The latest version (2.1.30) doesn't support a cone source, but it will be included in the next release. Also, Gaussian energy broadening of a pulse height detector output will be possible in 2.1.31.

It seems that the function ProcessPhotonAtt can't handle large number of materials efficiently. This function processes the data needed for the photon response numbers -200 - -248. The first warning message is displayed when the minimum energy in the photon cross section data is above the photon cutoff energy. Photon transport mode can be used only for the elements Z=1-99. This error indicates that you have fermium (Z=100) in some of your material compositions. The functions which process photon and electron data do not use the xsdata file, so you don't have to remove the elements Z>=100 from the file.

Hi,

You have to use the dhis option with a detector to active the tests. You can use a dummy detector like

if you only want to test the keff. Note that the tests are performed only on active cycles, and they might not help you for detecting source convergence, depending on your case.
