Gadolinium Depletion

I’ve having trouble depleting burnable absorbers, even when dispersing small amounts throughout the core. After modeling numerous configurations, gadolinium never depletes more than a fraction of a percent (~0.04%). I thus ran a quick comparison study with SCALE/NEWT, modeling TRISO fuel within an i...

Re: Pebble Bed - Segmentation Fault

That worked! I figured, after the particle kept being place at (0, 0, 0), that I needed to model it completely different.. But fixing the universe definition did the trick. I'm now able to run hundreds of thousands of pebbles without a segmentation fault or exceeding string length. Thank you!!! -Nat...

Re: Pebble Bed - Segmentation Fault

Thanks Jaakko. I agree, using pbed is the best/most efficient way to model this. However, I'm having trouble placing a particle array inside a pebble and reading in an explicit pbed. Below are my input and coordinate files for setting up the explicitly-placed pebbles. I have defined one pebble as sp...

Pebble Bed - Segmentation Fault

Although there are several HTGR examples in the manual of how to model one single pebble, none show how to model an array of particles within an ARRAY of pebbles. Therefore, I'm using a script to place the sphere surfs in explicit locations, as such: surf 102 sph -9.32 -24.3631 -27.44 2.399 surf 500...

Re: Cannot find -lgd

After following the suggested fixes 1-3 from that link, I changed the paths below:

export CPATH=".../include"
export LIBRARY_PATH=".../lib"
export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=".../lib"

And the code was able to compile! I successfully ran an input and have pretty plots now!

Thank you!!!
