Summing a new source variable over MPI threads

Hi All, as mentioned in previous posts, I have been working on a new detector card that allows for adding an extra binning dimension to the detector corresponding to the number of source entries provided. For example, if I have 4 sources, a "dr -7 void" detector over the whole geometry, this will ha...

Can't access download page for Serpent releases

Dear all,

I need to re-download Serpent 2.1.30 and Serpent 2.1.31 releases but I can't access the link that was sent to me via email anymore.

Thanks for your help,
Valerio

Re: Radial and azimuthal detectors in pin

Thank you for your feedback Valerio, I added a note into the wiki that using negative values for the curvilinear detector type uses the lowest level coordinates instead of universe 0. For the inverted z-axis for cylindrical meshes, we are aware of the problem and will try to resolve it in future up...

Re: Compiling Serpent 2.1.31: error

Hi Riku and Ville,

thanks for your help. As I feared, the compiler on our cluster is too old.

Thanks

Compiling Serpent 2.1.31: error

Dear all, I am having an issue compiling the most recent release of Serpent (2.1.31). I get the following error: gcc -O3 -ffast-math -Wall -ansi -Wunused -DOPEN_MP -fopenmp -pedantic -c collectfet.c collectfet.c: In function ‘CollectFET’: collectfet.c:60: error: expected ‘#pragma omp’ clause before ...

Re: Radial and azimuthal detectors in pin

Hi Ville, I have three main points/requests: I implemented the desired source distribution in the "usersrc.c" file. It was pretty straightforward. I am posting it here in case anybody needs it. This needs to be added below the "User-defined part" comment of the file. This is used for sampling of sou...

Re: Radial and azimuthal detectors in pin

Thanks Ville!

I guess for the tallies it was really straightforward, I didn't actually think you could use both those tally specification cards in conjunction.

For the source, thanks for the prompts. I will try to figure that out.

Radial and azimuthal detectors in pin

Hi everyone, I am trying to put some detectors in azimuthally and radially dependent sections of the pins of a TRIGA Mark-II reactor. The pins belong to a circular lattice (lat <name> 4 ...). Similarly, I will also need to place a source for fixed source calculations in the same portions of the pins...
