Deactivation of (n,xn) reactions in transmutation

Dear Serpent2 developer team,

I have a question about the possibility to ignore/deactivate some of the paths in a transmutation matrix used by the CRAM solver.
For example, would it be possible to exclude the account for (n,xn) reactions by any means?

Cordially,
Petri

Re: Total microscopic scattering matrix for selected isotopes

Many thanks Antti!

Just curious, are you planning to add functionality to get out isotope-wise scattering matrices in the future?

Best regards,
Petri

Re: Total microscopic scattering matrix for selected isotopes

Hello again, It seems also not possible to get out micro scattering XSs for water for the input below. I get the following error message: ***** Mon Apr 19 20:37:39 2021 Input error in parameter "mdep" on line 193 in file "s2-pin-00-base_61grps": Material water volume is zero For parameter descriptio...

Total microscopic scattering matrix for selected isotopes

Dear Serpent2 developers, I would be interested to get the total microscopic scattering matrix (elastic & inelastic) for some specific isotopes (92235, 92238 and 1001) by using the "set mdep"-option. However, I cannot find any appropriate MT number for that, and the total inelastic scattering MT see...

Re: Separation of isotopes in the BA and as FP

Dear Ana, Many thanks you for your answer. I am more interested in the possibility of using 2 different library IDs for the same isotope in the same homogenization region. I therefore apologize that my original question was formulated in a quite confusing way. For example, would it be possible to ad...

Separation of isotopes in the BA and as FP

Dear Serpent2 developer team, As a new version of Serpent2, version 2.1.32, has recently been released, I would like to know if it is now possible to separate the tracking of some isotopes commonly used as fuel BA from the ones built-up as fission products, e.g., Gd-155? One would like to treat Gd-1...

Re: Clarification desired of providing energy group boundaries to the "ene" input card

Hi again, Just to confirm, how is the group boundaries provided to Serpent2 in the "ene" card when specifying them manually? Should one start from the fastest to the lowest energy (normal convention), or otherwise around? Or does it really matter, i.e., Serpent2 sorts them anyway regardless of order...
