Re: Error when compiling Serpent 2.1.32:missing file

I have not the GD Graphics library installed but I have followed the instructions, by commenting out DFLAGS += -lgd and added he line: CFLAGS += -DNO_GFX_MODE, in the Serpent installation maual which you refer to and the code compiled for the basic Serpent packages. But when I do the same with the M...

Re: Change power density in automated burnup sequence

Ok, so if I understand it right, NSF relates to e.g the power density which is stated in the first burnup step?

Re: Change power density in automated burnup sequence

That’s good to know. Where in the Serpent 2 documentation can I find information about this subject? I have not found anything about the syntax in the Input syntax manual.

Re: adjusting heavy water concentration in moderator

Thank you for your reply!
I will probably do a combination of the suggested methods. Another question which turns up is: from which version of Serpent 2 is the hisv-card availble. It seems like the intallation at my department of Serpent 2 does contain the hisv-card.

Re: adjusting heavy water concentration in moderator

I think I was a bit unclear about my simulation goals. My work is a real case study. I am not interested in achieving criticality by adjusting the boron concentration. I have an real, existing PWR fuel assembly which has been irradiated during 5 fuelcycles in a reactor with reshuffling of the assemb...

Re: adjusting heavy water concentration in moderator

The restart files contain the compositions of your burnable materials. There is no need to adjust them when changing the composition of water. You simply stop the burnup calculation at the point where want the change to be applied, make the corresponding adjustment in the input file, and restart th...
