Re: Copy and Paste Transient Code Doesn't Work - Invalid Paramet

Ah, of course, me in my utter brilliance decided not to install any of the updates. Ergo, it does not work.

Thanks!

Re: HOWTO: Installing Serpent on Windows via Cygwin

Hey, I got Serpent 2 compiled under Cygwin using an unchaged makefile (GD and ANSI enabled)
You've just got to make sure libgb-devel is installed from the cygwin installer!

STL File Multiple Materials

Hi There,

So, I'm trying to import a CAD model with multiple materials into SERPENT.

Based on what I've read, it looks like I can define 1 STL file for each material, then import it into SERPENT.

Is this on the right track?

OpenFOAM Materials Files

Hello,

Trying to import an openFOAM mesh into SERPENT.

I'm using IdeasUnvToFoam to generate faces, neighours, owner and points files.

Is there a way I can generate and assign materials then generate the materials file?

Re: questions about decoding. the .percPoints File

Ah, I see, thanks! Where can I find out more information about these delayed precursor groups? Is there a way to set the number of groups? What's the half life of each of these groups?

questions about decoding. the .percPoints File

Hi There, I wrote a quick python script to decode the .percPoints file. I tried to attach it, but it looks like '.py' and '.txt' file extensions aren't allowed, it's copied and pasted below. At anyrate, looking at the output (this is from the simple 8 cube input example btw): edit: looks like the im...
