So It seems (or I made something wrong) that my radioactive source wont generate decay gammas unless the file that uses the "rfr" command contains material cards in its input (i.e., copy the material cards from the first run where rfw was used to create the material .dat file). I get: "Total photon source rate is zero in decay source mode", when I remove material definitions from my input file (although they are pointed to by "set rfr -2019 petermat.dat" ). The detector calculates volume-integrated flux [cm/s]. The -2XX response functions multiply flux by energy [MeV] and the tabulated mass energy-absorption coefficient [cm2/g]. Yes. All detector results are integrated over volume, and to get volume-averaged results you need to divide with the volume of the detector region. Defining the volume using the dv entry does the trick for simple detector types. Im still a bit unsure about how to get the units right. First, the uni...

Do I have to specify the detector volume (using dv entry) in order to get the correct Dose rates?' Is it possible in some way to have multiple cells for a detector?
Example:

where both cells 201 and 202 are used ..

or, doing a mesh 8 on multiple detectors...

Example:

where both 1b and 1c are detectors... ?

It should be Gy/h. Does the order of magnitude seem reasonable? Well, yes... I took tabulated values from 1.) ICRP 21 and compared to 2.) DR -200, when I multipled the detector value from 1.) by 3600 (i.e., seconds per hour) I got the almost same result down to 1% as in 2.) ..... I haven't compared...

It seems that when using dr -200 (and -201 etc...), the unit in the output becomes Gy/hour. At: http://serpent.vtt.fi/mediawiki/index.php/ENDF_reaction_MT's_and_macroscopic_reaction_numbers#cite_note-2 I thought seconds was the standard time unit in Serpent, so I am a bit confused if it really is Gy...
