SFR model for SERPENT

Post by Koning » Thu Sep 16, 2010 3:30 pm

Hi Serpent users,
Is there anybody who has developed a SFR model and would like to share that with us?
We are planning to do some uncertainty propagation studies with Serpent. Of course ,we
could use one of the standard sample cases, but we feel that an SFR case could be more interesting.
Thanks for any help.
Best regards,

Serpent is mostly used for pin- and assembly-model calculations, so I doubt that someone has designed a detailed SFR model. If you intend to study XS uncertainty propagation, then you would rather use as simple model as possible for your studies, at least at the beginning. Thanks to Jaakko, you can design a simple SFR model with a very little effort, and I would strongly recommend you to try it just to feel how easy it can be. If you need help, feel free to ask any question on this forum.
