Post by BBRider » Wed Sep 02, 2015 3:37 pm

Dear All!

I would like to know the version of ENDF/B-VII library i use. In the docs i found an sss_ace_endfb7u.pdf file, where is says the cross section library is based on ENDF/B-VII. But which version? How can i find out?

Thanks,
Bálint

It's ENDF/B-VII.0. When the data was processed there were no other versions.

Do we have access to the new and updated "ENDFB-VII rel. 1" library in Serpent2 ?
If not, do we have a script that can use the "ENDFB-VII rel. 1" library used by Dragon to convert to a format that Serpent would understand ?

Serpent uses continuous-energy ACE format cross section libraries, which means that any library used with MCNP can be used with Serpent as well. Conversion from multi-group cross sections to continuous-energy form is not possible, but it is possible to produce ACE format data using NJOY.

I do not have access to the MCNP libraries and I do not have access to NJOY.
DO I have a way to use "ENDFB-VII rel. 1" ?
