Are you sure the calculation was properly finished? Do you see the last burnup point in the output? I tried a similar calculation, only with fewer burnup points, this is what I get:

I don't have terminal log, but according to output files it seems OK. I will try to rerun the input. It might be connected to using Stochastic Implicit Euler burnnup scheme with the following settings:

The depletion calculation fails with SIE:

When SIE is not used, the calculation completes correctly and restart from depletion steps is possible.

Hi,

I also tried to run the example you provided in this link http://serpent.vtt.fi/mediawiki/index.p ... al_example

and whenever I read the binary file I encounter this error:

I also used the same seed number and still have the same bug, even with different omp.

Any suggestions?

This is related to photon transport, not burnup calculation. Have you already tried to apply the bug fixes at:
