<input>.coe file not generated

Post by jsenecal » Wed Jan 09, 2019 9:48 pm

Hi,
I am running some branch calculations and everything seems to be fine, except when the simulation ends there is no <input>.coe file. I don't see any errors or warnings. Is there an input that I'm missing? Is there an option that I'm missing?
Thanks,
Jaron

Do you have the branch and coef cards defined?

In my test case I have the following:

%% nominal - do nothing
branch nom
var boron 700

%% Boron worth
branch hot_no_B
repm cool cool_no_B
repm mod mod_no_B
var boron 0

coef 1 0.
2 nom hot_no_B

It looks like the branch calculations are running correctly. For example, I get <case>.inp_det1b1.m and <case>.inp_det1b2.m and <case>.inp_res.m gets overwritten. So as far as I know, the only thing I'm lacking is the <case>.coe file.

Could you send me the input by email?

Group constant generation is switched off by default in optimization modes lower than 4. This also prevents the generation of the .coe output file.

You can switch group constant generation on with "set gcu 0" (generate group constants for universe 0).
