Data read error when performing coupled gamma/neutron calcs

I am trying to convert an input deck of mine (which was working before) from just neutron transport to coupled photon/neutron transport. I have created a new photon xs library and converted it using the script xsdirconvert.pl. Everything seems to be going just fine during the data reading, but then when processing the electron data I get an error.
Processing response functions for photon dose rates...
OK.

Processing electron data:

- reading bremsstrahlung cross section data...
- reading ground state configuration data...
- processing input options...
- processing element data...

Fatal error in function ProcessElectrons:

SXSData: Z=100 not found

Simulation aborted.
In my calculation, I am trying to get the gamma heating from in each assembly of my core lattice. I am also doing the same for neutron energy deposition (which was working in previous calcs).

I am not sure what this error means. In my photon library, I have included cross sections for both photons and dosimetry.

I am using the most updated code version 2.1.29

Any help would be appreciated.

I think at the moment Serpent can handle photon physics for elements only up to Einsteinium. As a quick fix, try removing the entries for all elements above Z=99 in the xsdata file.

Photon transport mode can be used only for the elements Z=1-99. This error indicates that you have fermium (Z=100) in some of your material compositions. The functions which process photon and electron data do not use the xsdata file, so you don't have to remove the elements Z>=100 from the file.

Fermium is not necessarily in the material compositions but produced by activation reactions. Removing Z > 99 from the file prevents Serpent reading the data automatically in burnup mode.

Thanks Toni and Jaakko for the suggestions. I removed all instances of Fermium from my photon xsdata file and the calculation seems to be going fine now. Is this mentioned anywhere that photon transport will not work for Z > 99? I don't believe I ever saw it, and I would imagine that most people would have Fermium in their xsdata files if they simply took the file from an MCNP library.

UPDATE: The problem has been resolved. I figured that there was a mistake in defining the photon library in the xsdata file.
In addition, is there any way to obtain the newest photon library in ace format? I am afraid that the data that I have is obselete

Hi Jaakko, I have about the same error as keckler.
I am using Serpent 2.1.31. In my simulation, it says
Fatal Error in function ProcessElectron
No elements found in material fuel
Simulation aborted.
I am not sure what does it means with no elements found in material fuel, but I have defined some elements in the fuel.
Here is my 'fuel' definition,
mat fuel -11
U-235.09c -0.05 % U-235
U-238.09c -0.95 % U-238
Do you know what is the reason of this error? Thanks a lot.
