I'll add the card (and a few other missing cards) in the next manual update.

On page 20, Table 3.1:
- hexxprism and hexyprism have 6 parameters, but Serpent recognizes only 5 (w/o r0)
- cyl actually has five parameters, namely x0, y0, r, z1, and z2

On page 42 and 43 the word colour is spelled as color (american). On page 48 the word is suddenly spelled colour. For consistency reasons I propose you choose only one of the two ways to spell the word. I would suggest colour.

Cheers.

Group-transfer cross section

On page 86 (December, 2 version)
Paragraph 6.1.25
Last line

It seems that there is an error in the formula.
I think "i" and "j" should be inverted, if the convention
"from j to i" (written the line above).

As written on page 64 energy groups are indexed in increasing lethargy (decreasing energy).

With two 2D pincell test (pwr and lead fast reactor)
i have wrong matrix with almost only upscattering.

Inverting "i" and "j", I get reasonable results.

Do you agree?

Yes, you are right. I'll make the correction in the manual.

Page 85 Section 6.1.21 Delayed neutron parameters

You have 2J_d + 1 values for BETA_EFF, BETA_ZERO, and DECAY_CONSTANT. It should read 2J_d + 2 values. And in notes, it may be pertinent to include that the first two values refer to the total and relative error, rather than just "total values".

The Installation.pdf file that comes with software contains the following:
In particular, if the GD open source graphics library is not available in the system, the

LDFLAGS += -ldg

line must be removed from the Makefile and line

CFLAGS += -DNO_GFX_MODE
I removed the LDFLAGS line in first compilation, only to add it back later when I wanted SERPENT's graphics features. I added the previously shown LDFLAGS line back into the makefile, but was encountering some problems. "-ldg" seems to be a small typo and should be "-lgd" in the Installation.pdf document. This is how it is in the original makefile. It is just a small error that took me a some time to solve and would be easy for anyone to avoid in the future.
