Keff value with response matrix method

Post by Mathilde » Mon Feb 24, 2020 2:19 pm

Hi !

We are two students working on a project about the acceleration of the fission source convergence using the response matrix based method.
We were wondering if it is possible to have the keff value from the response matrix method, apart from the one given in the output file. Is it possible, and if yes, where can we find the results ?

Thank you for your help,
Mathilde & Carlos

The response matrix solver uses keff to normalize the fission source distribution. The value is not printed out by default, but you should get it by adding:

Code: Select all

printf("%f\n", RDB[rmx + RMX_CONVG_PREV_KEFF]);
after line 670 in solvermxcrit.c.
