mesh plots of detector outputs doesn't work

hi

New user of Serpent, I have tried in both the model I am creating and in the tutorial online to use the mesh plotter for detector outputs, but each time it just writes a blank file (no errors just doesn't create a mesh). Is this a bug?

My main reason for needing the mesh is to understand in a hexagon detector mesh how the location of a output bin is indexed so I can locate it in real xyz space. Any help on both issues much appreciated.

Do you get non-zero scores for the detector linked to the mesh plot?

Could you post your input here?

My detector file shows a response, and all aspects of my model are working as I expect, just the mesh plotter doesn't give an output when meshing the detector file.

This is the case as well when running the tutorial (http://serpent.vtt.fi/mediawiki/index.php/Tutorial) in part 2 the following mesh plots just produce empty files

% The detector uses response number -3 (total elastic scattering cross section)
% of the material at the interaction site (keyword: void)

det elastic dr -3 void

% --- A meshplot that shows the value of a detector response throughout the geometry (type 8)
% The colormap that is used is "cold" (colormap 2)
% The detector linked to this meshplot is named "elastic"
% Orientation is xy (3), and output size is 200 by 200 pixel

mesh 8 2 elastic 3 200 200

% --- Detector that calculates the capture reaction rate in the system
% Name of the detector is capture.
% The detector uses response number -2 (total capture cross section)
% of the material at the interaction site (keyword: void)

det capture dr -2 void

% --- A meshplot that shows the value of a detector response throughout the geometry (type 8)
% The colormap that is used is "cold" (colormap 2)
% The detector linked to this meshplot is named "capture"
% Orientation is xy (3), and output size is 200 by 200 pixel

mesh 8 2 capture 3 200 200

I get the same with my own model, can't see where there is any error in the code.

I tried the example in the tutorial, and I'm getting the same mesh plots. Which version are you using?
